–2. Don’t go on and on.
–3. Stop and let the listener paraphrase.
•Rules for Listener:
–1. Paraphrase what you hear.
–2. Don’t rebut. Focus on what the speaker is saying.
•Rules for Both:
–1. The speaker has the floor.
–2. Speaker keeps the floor while the listener paraphrases.
–3. Share the floor.

Thought I would let anyone who might be interested know that Joyce Meyer's program is speaking on the Five Love Languages w/ Gary Chapman on her program this week. Check your local listings, I know on dish network she comes on a few times a day.
As for the Speaker/Listener Technique.... I have practiced this technique several times and it is a work in progress and i have not perfected it yet. It can really be trying at times...but the outcome is much better than the screaming,yelling, blame game,...you get my point?
Thank you for doing this seminar, I am always looking for ways to better my realtionship.
